Pod Point is a significant provider of electric vehicle charging in the United Kingdom. They have developed and supplied over 102,000 charging points in the UK and Norway since our inception in 2009. We've also built a large public network that connects EV drivers to 5,200+ charging spaces at stores including Tesco, Lidl, and Centre Parcs.
We install smart home charging points for consumers of major vehicle brands like as Audi, Nissan, Volkswagen, and Hyundai, as well as numerous high-profile companies such as Skanska, Mitie, and Pepsico. We also wire up developments for prominent property developers and managers such as Barratt Homes, Savills, and Bellway.
They have already powered over 715 million miles of vehicle travel through our network of home, office, and public charging stations.
Types of Pod Point Charger
Solo 3 Charger
The Solo 3 Charger is designed for a single car.
The Solo 3 is offered as a universal socketed or tethered device, with the latter offering Type 1 and Type 2 cabled options. Type 1 has a 4.8m cable, whereas Type 2 has a 7.5m cable.
The Solo 3 is also available in a number of charging rates, with 7kW being the most common, but 3.6kW, 11kW, and 22kW also being options.
Velocity Charger
The V50 is a 50kW DC quick charger with a CCS or CHAdeMO port that can charge a single electric vehicle.
In 30 minutes, the V50 can add 100 miles to its range.
Delta Charger
The Delta DC Wallbox is a power charger capable of charging a single electric vehicle, with either a CCS or CHAdeMO connector with up to 25kW. Its built-in network connectivity allows for remote control application and RFID authentication. The charger comes wall-mounted; an additional stand can be purchased.
Twin Charger
The Twin Charger is a dual socketed Type 2 vehicle charger that is ideal for commercial and public installations.
The Twin Charger is available in a variety of charging speeds for both single-phase and three-phase electrical supply.
Terra Charger
The Terra 54 CJG is an AC/DC single-vehicle quick charger with charging ports for Type 2 (AC), CCS2, and CHAdeMO. This charger can charge two vehicles at the same time, using the AC and DC charging systems.
In 30 minutes, the 50kW DC option can add up to 100 miles of range.
Media Charger
The Media Charger is a dual socketed Type 2 vehicle charger for single phase power supplies.
The Media Charger has a 1080p display, 3G/4G connectivity, and a Content Management System (CMS) built in.
